RNIB World Cup guide
Want to know all the fixtures and statistics for the World Cup? Look no further as RNIB has produced a special
2010 Fifa World Cup South Africa guide, available in braille, large print and audio, packed full of interesting and informative features. It includes group match schedules and TV coverage, background on each of the teams, a stadium guide, World Cup titbits and more.
Audio description in sport
RNIB and Action for Blind People, as part of the Soccer Sight programme, have been training volunteer commentators to provide quality audio description at a number of clubs across the country. They have also been working with football clubs to get facilities and accessibility improved for blind and partially sighted people.
There is now audio described commentary at over 100 football stadia in the UK. In addition to this, every England football match played at Wembley is audio described. To find out more about your local club's facilities, visit the National Association of Disabled Supporters (NADS) clubs page.
