Frequently asked questions about the Weekly Lottery

Answers to all your Weekly Lottery questions

How do I play the Weekly Lottery?

Simply choose the number of chances you'd like per week (from one chance costing £1 per week up to a maximum of five chances costing £5 per week). Then fill in the online entry form to set up your Direct Debit, or alternatively download and print our printable Direct Debit form (Word, 304K) and post it back to us.

We will send you a player's pack within 14 days of receipt of your entry. Your pack will confirm the date of the first draw in which you are entered, details of your unique draw number(s) and a copy of the rules. Please keep your pack in a safe place for your records.

You can take part in the Weekly Lottery for as many weeks as you wish. If you want to cancel at any time all you need to do is get in touch with us or your bank.

For one week each quarter we run a Super Draw where we put the first prize up to £3,500 for that draw only. The Super Draw takes place on the first Friday of March, June, September and December (or the nearest working day if it falls on a bank holiday).

Why is my monthly cost £4.34?

If you pay for one chance a week, the monthly cost breakdown is £4.34 for playing the Weekly Lottery. This is based on paying £1 per week over a 52 week year. Your Direct Debit will only be collected once a month. Sometimes there are five weeks in a month and the additional £0.34p is to build up credit to cover the fifth week on these five week months.

What day is my Direct Debit collected?

The collection day for your Direct Debit is either the 1st or 15th of the month or the nearest working day.

Are my Weekly Lottery payments eligible for Gift Aid?

Your Weekly Lottery payments are not eligible for Gift Aid.
