Almost a third of UK adults are too embarrassed to admit to loving a particular book, according to our new poll. In contrast, blind and partially sighted readers face a dramatically limited choice of titles - just 7 per cent of all books are available in fully accessible formats.

Success! In July 2012 the Government published a draft bill setting out changes to Social Care in England. At the same time they announced their support for blind registers that were under threat.
We won an important battle in European Parliament as a written declaration on accessible labelling was signed by a record-breaking 447 MEPs - becoming the most supported written declaration in Parliament.
