using a braille note taker in preferrence to a conventional computer. It is so slow it is just about entering the 21st century as we move in to next year. I can't get on with screen readers and the internet. Can anyone help?

Hi. I have been a braille user all my life. I have to say that braille notetaking has come a long way since the eureka. I have a braille display that I can connect to my iphone and its very efficient. It navigates the web really well. as well as loads of other things. Like jake said, I think you need to be a little more specific about your preferences and what you would like braille notetakers to do. I have also seen the apex machines from humanware. these are also very good. navigating the web and loads of other things besides. as i said, let us know what you'd like and i'm sure we'll be able to advise you.
