I just wanted to metion how easy the BWBF radios are to use, the Duet is very simple, all of the buttons are well laid out and you have the option of having upto 6 pre selected station which should be ample!
the Concerto 2 is a little more complicated as it has a CD player/USB/SD and a tape deck, but again once you have the stations pre-set, it is simple. the controls are simple, tactile and clearly marked.
these two are good, but the one that i have come across is sadly no longer available, that was the Pure DAB talking digital radio. for accessibilty, this had no rival. the fact that everythubg was spoken to you was excellent. i believe however Pure stopped making it due to high costs. this was a great shame as it was a very good piece of kit, and among the best products for the blind and sight impaired i have ever come across.
the only talking radio i have seen recently, was not that good as it was only FM, which sooner or later will be fazed out.

As for Digital Radios. I don't use them at all, I listen to radio on my TV or online, when I'm out and about I don't listen to any radio, unless I'm in a car or a bus. I had a digital radio from British Wireless For The Blind, but without sighted person near me, I had no chance of working it out.
