I was diagnosed with RP at 18 and am now 34, while my vision has deteriorated luckily its been slow.
My wife recently suggested trying acupuncture to help my vision, despite being skeptical I gave it a try and have found that it temporarily improves my vision after each treatment. The acupuncturist tells me that while any visual improvement will be limited regular treatment can help to slow the loss of vision.
Has anyone else tried acupuncture, or are aware of any studies on its effects in RP sufferers?
