Hi Newbie SmileySadie here, just trying to get used to this as ive no clue what or how it works so please bear with. My 7 year old son has nastagmus and also ocular albinisum. I am in the process of saving for an Ipad for him from santa and was wondering what good apps to get him to help him with his reading - he gets very upset when doing homeworks and im afraid he will fall behind (Im in the process of getting him statment) so fingers crossed, but was looking any advice you can all offer - cheers stressed and worried mum x thanks

Hi,

Nastagmus can come in a number of forms and impacts on people differently.

I have Nastagmus which becomes more pronounced if trying to read print for too long or when tired or stressed.

What size print can your son comfortable read for a period of time without straining.

I use large print to reduce the impact of my Nastagmus which requires a lot of material to be produced on A3 paper instead of A4.
