Hi. My name is Wayne Chapman and I am 42 years old. I have been totally blind from birth and am currently unemployed. I am looking to meet new friends from all over the world as I find customs and cultures of others really interesting and fascinating. My interests include birdwatching - obviously listening to birdsong - as well as bird behaviour, travelling to places all over the world, reading (mainly biographies or books on topical aspects of current affairs), listening to the radio and watching TV, most kinds of music, religions of the world, visual impairment issues around the world and quizzes. I am also deputy leader of my local Catholic church choir which I really love. I speak and write French fluently and have a reasonable knowledge of German, Italian and Spanish both speaking and writing. Four years ago, I went to help out at a Summer camp for orphaned/impoverished blind and partially sighted children in Romania. I have a sighted partner and his name is Pravat.
