Business women in Snaith are joining forces this Christmas to raise vital funds for charity.

Karen Haasefrom Bridal Eyewear, has teamed up with ladies from Images Hair Salon, luxury skin care specialists Temple Spa, Dr Lisa King from Cosmetic Consulting Ltd, and The Cottage Flower Shop to host a pamper afternoon on Saturday, November 24.

The Shimmer, Sparkle and Shine afternoon starts from 3pm onwards and will be held at Michael James Opticians in Market Place, Snaith . The afternoon is a fantastic way for ladies to unwind in the stressful run up to Christmas.

Guests will have the opportunity to sit, back, relax and enjoy a Temple Spa facial, with products usually only available to buy in Harrods and Selfridges in London, or treat themselves to a fantastic, mini manicure, using this season's hottest colours courtesy of beauty and massage therapist Kirsty Tomlinson.

Dr Lisa King, from Comestic Consulting Ltd based in South Milford, which offers botox, facial fillers, IPL hair removal and laser thread vein treatments, will also be attending the pamper afternoon, where she will very kindly offer free consultations to customers and give advice and pricing.

Customers will also be offered a discount on procedures if they book a future appointment on the day.
The Cottage Flower Shop, based in Snaith will also be present at the event with some beautiful flowers, candles and decorations to brighten your home this festive season and for some expert advice on this season's must have hair styles, the specialist from Images will be on hand to provide their special tricks of the trade.

Guests will also be offered a delicious tipple, courtesy of Yorkshire Ales, who will be bringing along their finest drinks to sample, along with sparkling wine and non alcoholic cordial for those wishing to sample soft drinks.

The whole event is free to attend, however those wishing to make a donation to charity for their treatments can do so.

All proceeds from the event will go to the RNIB charity.

Karen said: "We are really looking forward to having this pamper afternoon, at Michael James Opticians, where ladies will be given the opportunity to relax and get expert advice. Working as an optician, the RNIB is a charity close to my heart and I am delighted that we are being given the chance to support them."
