Lisburn in Focus is excited to be able to give you the opportunity to experience an audio described dance performance of Manifesto - an exciting new triple-bill of contemporary dance where physicality, power and passion abound.
The performance takes place at the ISLAND Arts centre on Friday 15 February at 8pm.
Local people who attended their first audio described performance (Romeo & Juliet) really enjoyed the occasion as audio description really enhances your involvement and enjoyment of a performance.
Manifesto showcases the choreographic talent of three men - Dylan Quinn (Northern Ireland), Filip Van Huffel (England, Belgium) and Luke Murphy (Ireland, USA).
Dylan Quinn's new piece of dance theatre involves men and women grappling with society's expectations. Filip Van Huffel's 'Picture in a Frame' offers fast-paced dynamic precision, while Luke Murphy sets an intriguing contemporary reimagining of the ballet 'Les Noces' in a high school reunion where past and present collide.
