Join world famous percussionist Dame Evelyn Glennie and a line-up of local performers for a celebration of culture from people with sensory disabilities. Having led the Olympics opening ceremony 2012, this will be Dame Glennie's only appearance in the 2013 UK City of Culture.
This event marks the grand finale of The Sensory Engagement Programme, a three year project which has involved hundreds of blind, partially sighted, deaf and hard of hearing people. Through music, drama and other activities, participants have discovered their potential and developed their self confidence.
SEP is a partnership between RNIB NI, Action on Hearing Loss, NCBIand DeafHear. Funded by INTERREG IVA, managed by SEUPB.
Alongside Evelyn Glennie, performers will include
Tyrone singer Andrea Begley and folk band, Identity Crisis.
