Volunteers are involved in many activities across England. The roles can be done from home, based at an RNIB Group office or out and about in the community.

Public Speaker - Fundraising

Be our ambassador! Make a difference in your local community by talking to a variety of audiences. By engaging, informing and inspiring others to fundraise or donate you will be helping us rebuild the lives of blind and partially sighted people. Opportunities available in Wiltshire, Dorset and Bristol.

BME Eye Care Volunteer

Do you speak a language such as Punjabi, Hindi, Bengali, Somali, Polish or any other community language in addition to English and live in the East Midlands? If so we would like your help to increase the awareness of BME (black and minority ethnic) visually impaired people of available eye-care services. Opportunity available across the region.

Community Driver

Volunteer drivers are sought in the Redhill area to assist with driving duties for partially sighted people with learning disabilities and complex needs, and for day visitors who are partially sighted.

Campaign Co-ordinator (role for a blind or partially sighted volunteer only)

Campaign Co-ordinators will act as RNIB's main local contact for individuals and groups wanting to become involved in campaigning for better services or opportunities for blind or partially sighted. Opportunity available in Oxfordshire, West Sussex, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire.

Special Events Volunteer

Are you outgoing, confident and passionate about the issues that affect blind and partially sighted people? RNIB host and attend numerous events at various locations across the UK and we need you to make things run smoothly!

Events Supporter

The role may involve driving clients to services or drive blind or partially sighted volunteers to enable them to carry out their volunteer role. Opportunity available in Christchurch, Dorset.
