Office Volunteer

Action for Blind People's Stafford office needs enthusiastic and friendly volunteers to help with everything from administration to in-house events. Opportunity available in Stafford

Maintenance Support Volunteer (Tate House) - Harrogate

As a Maintenance Support Volunteer you will be contributing to the upkeep of Tate House by helping with a variety of maintenance tasks such as painting and general repairs.

Befriender (Tate House) - Harrogate

The befriending service supports service users who are blind and partially sighted living within the home. The service ensures people remain independent as much as possible and to help them with the small tasks that they find they cannot do.

Social Activities Helper (Tate House) - Harrogate

We need enthusiastic volunteers to help out with activities, which allow our residents to continue hobbies, learn new pastimes, get together with others, and get out and about.

Befriender - Rotherham

Friendly and understanding volunteers needed to offer a regular befriending service to blind and partially sighted people in the Rotherham area.

ICT & Access Technology Volunteer (Regional) - Devon and Cornwall

Do you have an interest in how technology can enable blind and partially sighted people to access information, develop their skills and become independent? Would you like to help them get to grips with modern technology? Opportunity available in North Devon and Cornwall.

IT Specialist Volunteer

Would you like to use your expertise to help blind and partially sighted people to resolve IT problems? We are looking for IT specialists to join our 'Technology Support Squad' - a national team of volunteers helping blind and partially sighted people to support their independence. Technology Support Volunteer

Do you have a passion for the unlimited possibilities that technology can bring? Would you like to open up a world of opportunities for blind and partially sighted people? We need more volunteers who understand and can help blind and partially sighted people make better use of technology in their homes and lead more independent lives. Children, Young People and Families (CYF) Actionnaires Volunteer - Hull and Scarborough

This is a unique opportunity to work with blind and partially sighted children, young people and their families. You will be assisting with a range of CYF activities and events including sports, music, visits to attractions and crafts, supporting both the group and individuals as required.
