RNIB Talk and Support provides the opportunity for people with sight loss to meet each other in telephone groups of up to eight participants. Volunteers will provide the friendly voice of Talk and Support, telephoning individual participants and using the telephone conference system to connect them to their telephone group. RNIB has a team of over 600 runners who take part in various marathons and runs throughout the year, to raise money for the RNIB. We need your help in cheering on our runners and assisting them at the post race reception where they can grab a drink and relax! Opportunities available in London, Northampton and Newcastle
Are you a blind or partially sighted person who wants to raise awareness of sight loss, develop your presentation skills and interact with children and young people in a classroom environment? We are building a team to design and deliver understanding sight loss workshops to schools and colleges around London.
RNIB's Emotional Support Service offers a BACP accredited counselling service to people affected by sight-loss. We are looking to recruit a small team of volunteer counsellors who can help us support more blind and partially-sighted people and at the same time gain valuable experience of counselling and issues facing people who are blind or partially-sighted.
