If so then Action for Blind People's busy local team urgently needs YOU to help. The role is important and would suit someone with person centred roles e.g. in HR or administration. By giving your time and skills you will be part of a dedicated team of volunteers and staff who make a real difference to the lives of blind and partially sighted people.
This role will not require a DBS check
What will I be doing?
The role is likely to be varied, but will include aspects of:

Helping blind and partially sighted people to search for jobs or work experience

Supporting individuals with their applications

Helping with confidence building and interview techniques

Assisting with research into support at work

Assist with photocopying, filing and other general office tasks

Updating computer records with attendance/outcomes

Ideally we would like you to volunteer for a minimum total of three hours a week.
Where will I be volunteering?
At Action for Blind People's office at Bedminster, Bristol, with potential for tasks to be carried out at home.
