The Action for Blind People's local Resource Centre in Bristol needs a volunteer to greet our visitors, provide administrative support and assist us with the day to day running of the Resource Centre.
This role involves maintaining the garden area ensuring the continued growth of the greenery at the school and children's home.
We need a volunteer with good administration skills, a friendly telephone manner and passion to help support our team to deliver our services as effectively as possible. Opportunity available in Matford, Exeter.
This role will require you, one day per week, to visit local shops, churches, community centres and libraries or other outlets where we would be permitted to display posters and leaflets. Opportunity available Nationwide
The befriending service supports service users who are blind and partially sighted living within the home. The service ensures people remain independent as much as possible and to help them with the small tasks that they find they cannot do. Opportunity available at Burnham on Sea

Opportunities exist in a variety of locations for lively people to have social contact with blind or partially sighted clients. Activities may include quizzes, bingo, music, outings, reading or doing crosswords. Opportunity available Burnham on Sea
Would you like to use your expertise to help blind and partially sighted people to resolve IT problems? We are looking for IT specialists to join our 'Technology Support Squad' - a national team of volunteers helping blind and partially sighted people to support their independence. Opportunity available in Gloucestershire, Dorset and Cornwall.
Do you have a passion for the unlimited possibilities that technology can bring? Would you like to open up a world of opportunities for blind and partially sighted people? We need more volunteers who understand and can help blind and partially sighted people make better use of technology in their homes and lead more independent lives. This may include programming a new mobile phone or demonstrating audio description equipment. Opportunity available in Gloucestershire, Dorset, North Devon and Cornwall.
Campaign Co-ordinators will act as RNIB's main local contact for individuals and groups wanting to become involved in campaigning for better services or opportunities for blind or partially sighted people in their area. Opportunity available in Swindon, Dorset, Bath and North Somerset.
