Do you enjoy meeting and helping people? Can you help support a variety of people in a busy eye clinic department and help with general office tasks and provide administrative support at the Eye Clinic Help Desk based at the Treatment Centre, QueensHospital, Burton on Trent, Staffordshire.
This role requires a Standard DBS check.
What will I do?

Handling enquiries and resolving or signposting as appropriate

Give out information leaflets and brochures on equipment

Recording and inputting patient details electronically in accordance with organisational processes including Data Protection and patient confidentiality

Assist with other general administrative tasks as required

Become familiar with, and make appointments for Low Vision equipment demonstrations

Take messages and pass onto staff in their absence

When will I be needed?
One day per week, at least two hours per day, exact days and hours to be agreed. Occasional periods to cover staff annual leave or training.
