Use your skills to help Stoke-on-Trent's Action for Blind People team to deliver services to local blind and partially sighted people. Many volunteers generously offer their time, talent and help to us and we require a Volunteer Coordinator to ensure that both the volunteers and those offered support, get the very best from it.
This role does NOT require a CRB check.
What will I be doing?

Assist the Action for Blind People team to build up volunteer and contact lists

Work with the Regional Volunteer Coordinator to initiate and oversee volunteer schemes

Update and maintain the volunteer database
What skills and qualities can I bring to this role?

Experience with databases desirable
When will I be needed?
We hope to gain seven hours of support a week, during office hours, from volunteers occupying this position. If you cannot commit to this amount, please offer what you can as we hope to recruit multiple volunteers for this role who can jointly offer the seven hours a week needed.
