Action for Blind People are hosting a residential from 22nd - 28th July in Bewdley, Worcestershire. We require volunteers to support the young people across the week and help the staff host a fun, safe and memorable experience.

Would you like to help provide administrative support for a small group of volunteers working with blind and partially sighted people? We are looking for someone who can coordinate new requests from blind and partially sighted clients who would like to work with a volunteer, liaise between volunteers, clients and the Project Coordinator and help facilitate administrative aspects of the project.

Volunteer Buddy - Birmingham Travel and Shopping Buddy Project

We are looking for someone who can support blind and partially sighted people to become more confident and independent when shopping or travelling within Birmingham.

Special Events Volunteer

Are you outgoing, confident and passionate about the issues that affect blind and partially sighted people? RNIB host and attend numerous events at various locations across the UK and we need you to make things run smoothly!

Resource Centre (IT) Volunteer

Action for Blind People's resource centre in Stoke needs volunteers with IT knowledge and good communication skills to greet visitors, demonstrate the range of computers and software and help customers to make an informed decision on which products would be the greatest benefit to them. Opportunity available in Stoke.

Assistant IT Trainer

Supporting an IT trainer, you will help to train blind and partially sighted people to use a range of IT equipment and specialist software. Training will be delivered at Action for Blind People centres in Stoke-on-Trent and in Stafford, as well as at people's homes.

Campaign Buddy

You will be assisting blind and partially sighted Campaign Coordinators in carrying out their role. Opportunities available in the Staffordshire, Stoke on Trent, Walsall and Black Country areas.

Campaign Co-ordinator (role for a blind or partially sighted volunteer only)

As a coordinator for the campaigns team, you will be the main RNIB contact in your local area for groups or individuals wanting to campaign for better services for blind and partially sighted people. Opportunities available in Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Coventry, Telford, Shropshire, Solihull and the Black Country.

Project Development Volunteer

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to help oversee the development of new and existing volunteer projects. Contributing towards a diverse range of projects and activities this role may include everything from reviewing processes, initiating new volunteer schemes or supporting current volunteers depending on your individual skills and preferences. Opportunity available in Stoke and Stafford.
