This is a unique opportunity to work with blind and partially sighted children, young people and their families. You will be assisting with a range of CYF activities and events including sports, music, visits to attractions and crafts, supporting both the group and individuals as required.
Friendly and understanding volunteers needed to offer a regular befriending service to blind and partially sighted people in the Rotherham area.
As a Maintenance Support Volunteer you will be contributing to the upkeep of Tate House by helping with a variety of maintenance tasks such as painting and general repairs.
The befriending service supports service users who are blind and partially sighted living within the home. The service ensures people remain independent as much as possible and to help them with the small tasks that they find they cannot do.
We need enthusiastic volunteers to help out with activities, which allow our residents to continue hobbies, learn new pastimes, get together with others, and get out and about.
Make a difference in your local community, by ensuring money donated by the public into our iconic Sooty boxes is collected on a regular basis from local shops, pubs and leisure centres. Opportunity available across the region.
