Do you have the leadership skills to draw a team together, to organise events and activities that will raise awareness and funds to make a difference to the lives of blind and partially sighted children and adults?

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to lead Fundraising Groups and who have the flair to put fun into fundraising.

No DBS Check will be required for this role.

What will I be doing?

  • Attend and lead regular Fundraising Group meetings.

  • Ensure the Fundraising Group works together as an effective team.
  • Encourage and develop a team of volunteers to share skills, knowledge and experience to organise successful events and activities.
  • Ensure that all activities operate within the law and RNIB's policies.
  • Raise awareness of the work we do within your local community.

What skills and qualities can I bring to this role?

  • Friendly and confident with leadership skills and the ability to motivate others.

  • Willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Good communications skills.
  • Ability to listen to others ideas.

When will I be needed?

You will need to attend Fundraising Group meetings and activities.
Timings and frequency to be decided by your group.

How much time will I need to commit?

Flexible, according to your availability and the Fundraising Group's needs, but approximately two to three hours a week.
