Are you confident and organised with the talent and skills to help oversee and co-ordinate activities and events? We need a good team player who will be an integral part of a friendly and vibrant team of people, full of ideas to ensure the success of community fundraising events to help us support blind and partially sighted children and adults.

No DBS Check will be required for this role.

What will I be doing?

  • Attending Fundraising Group meetings.

  • Working with the team to organise events and activities.
  • Booking venues and catering facilities.
  • Contacting and liaising with local organisations and event participants.
  • Co-ordinating and managing events on the day.

What skills and qualities can I bring to this role?

  • Willingness to work as part of a team.

  • Engaging and friendly manner.
  • Ability to organise events and activities.
  • IT skills and access to a PC.

When will I be needed?

You will need to attend Fundraising Group meetings, activities and events.
Timings and frequency to be decided by your group.

How much time will I need to commit?

Flexible, according to your availability and the groups needs, but approximately two to three hours a week.

  • Expenses - all out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed including expenses to attend training.
  • Supervision and support from your Community Fundraiser.
