You will have the knowledge and expertise in IT to lead and guide clients or staff through clear steps, so they may be able to understand the correct approach to the various systems being used. A reliable and flexible individual, able to give instruction and relate to a wide range of people in respectful, patient manner is required.
This role requires an Access NI check.
What will I be doing?
Working in the RNIB NI team to survey users regarding their needs. You will be assisting with:

Setting up equipment

One to one and small group training

Feeding back to trainers on participant progress and issues

Collating information on participants
What skills can I bring to this role?

Computer literate in Word, email, internet, spreadsheets, databases

Clear and sensitive communication skills

Enthusiastic approach and identification with the RNIB NI values for empowering people

We would also require someone with the ability to accurately record customer details and their training/other requirements for further action

Good organisational skills

An Access NI check is required

When will I be needed?
We envisage that the minimum commitment would be one day per week during office hours.
