We are looking for warm, polite and caring Social Activity Volunteers to assist at fortnightly meetings. Help blind and partially sighted people to gain independence and confidence whilst networking with others in their community at group meetings, activities and events.
An Access NI check is required for this role.
What will I be doing?

Acting as a sighted guide at group meetings, activities and events

Assisting RNIB staff and volunteers to provide refreshments to attendees

Helping to plan various activities and events

Booking a variety of speakers to attend the meetings

When will I be needed?
The meeting take place every other Monday from 7pm - 9pm, you may be asked to work from home outside these hours.
Where will I be volunteering?
This role will mainly be based at Enler Centre in Dundonald, however the role will require occasional work from home. Access to a telephone and email is required.
