Admin Office Support - Access Media Data

Enjoy data entry, editing and updating databases? Help us make a difference to blind and partially sighted people by ensuring our client database is up to date to enable them to receive our current publications. You will join a very innovative, motivated team transcribing print media into audio, large print or Braille formats.

What will I be doing?

  • Update and edit customer databases
  • Contact customers by telephone to check accuracy of data
  • General administrative duties.
  • Ensure correct addresses for despatch of accessible media

What skills can I bring to this role?

  • Good keyboard skills
  • Good telephone skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Access and Excel
  • Organisational skills
  • Good record keeping skills and basic statistical work, e.g. spreadsheets.
  • An understanding of Data Protection
  • Confidentiality is paramount for undertaking these tasks

What qualities do I need?

  • A good knowledge of Microsoft packages
  • A friendly telephone manner
  • Enjoy working as part of a team

When will I be needed?

Flexible, minimum one day per week.

Location

RNIB, Accessible Media, 159 Durham Street, Belfast.
