Make a difference in your community, support your local fundraising team to plan and deliver successful events. Be creative, use your social networking skills to engage your community in raising awareness and much needed funds. Be as innovative and quirky as you like or choose from a range of tried and tested activities such as; coffee mornings, quiz nights, fashion shows, sponsored walks, gala dinners or open gardens.
Did you know that half a million pounds was raised from events last year? £1,100 enables a young person with sight problems to spend a week trying out new leisure activities, gaining independence and making new friends on an RNIB Vacation Scheme.
This role is NOT subject to a CRB check or membership of the PVG scheme.
What will I be doing?

Plan and research potential events

Share information with your team

Liaise with venues, event partners, local media and other groups

Source materials and equipment necessary for the event

Manage and supervise the event (if required)

Update Community Fundraising Executive (CFE) with progress and results

Areas local to you, however a willingness to travel on occasion would be helpful.
