RNIB Edinburgh and Lothians provides comprehensive services to blind and partially sighted people within the region, including statutory social work, rehabilitation and low vision services. It also provides a wide range of activities and services supported by volunteers, including an art group and a craft group where volunteers assist clients to participate in a variety of activities and with the running of the group. You will get a sense of personal satisfaction if you have a creative interest or skill that you can pass on and share with clients.
This role is subject to membership of the PVG Scheme.

When will I be needed?
Two hours a fortnight are required for this post. The groups run on Tuesdays 2pm-4pm for the craft group and 2.30pm-4.30pm for the art group.
