You will be able to make a positive difference to customers by supporting the Talking Book Service within a specified geographical area. You will be the liaison between the Volunteer Development Team and the 'Home Visiting' volunteers within your area. Opportunities available in the Lanarkshire, Motherwell and Glasgow areas.
Working in the RNIB Pathway team, you will provide support with administrative duties and maintaining data base information and providing ad-hoc IT support to the Pathway team and service users. Opportunity available in Kirkcaldy, Fife.
You will offer complimentary therapies to adults who have a learning disability and sight loss within a vision assessment resource centre. Opportunity available at RNIB Pathway in Kirkcaldy, Fife.
By providing transport to bring the service users to the centre in Springfield, Glasgow the role will be maximising service users' abilities, skills and levels of independence. Opportunity available in Glasgow.
This role involves maintaining the sensory garden area around the Springfield building at RNIB Glasgow. Ensure there is a variety of colour and scent in the garden for as much of the year as possible. Opportunity available in Glasgow.
You will have the knowledge and expertise in IT to lead and guide clients or staff through clear steps, so they may be able to understand the correct approach to the various systems being used. Opportunity available at RNIB Pathway in Kirkcaldy, Fife.
While at events, you will either be involved in a supervisory role for a small group of young people, or you may be providing support to an individual to participate fully in an event. Opportunities available across Scotland.
Annual holidays are provided to enable blind and partially sighted individuals of all ages to have a holiday and enjoy a break. This role involves supporting staff and clients. Opportunities available across Scotland.
You may be required to take customers or volunteers to specific destinations or to make home visits to clients, using RNIB's company car or your own vehicle. Opportunities available in Edinburgh and Lothians.
The befriending service supports isolated blind and partially sighted people to ensure they remain independent. This roles requires an enthusiastic person who has an awareness of needs, effective listening skills and a natural empathy for people. Opportunities available across Edinburgh and the Lothians area.
