ECLO Customer Feedback Volunteer - Pontypridd

Do you have excellent communications skills? Can you build a rapport with people over the telephone and put them at ease? Could you carry out follow up telephone calls to customers that have received assistance from our team of Eye Clinic Liaison Officers?

If so we need you to help evaluate how our service assists people in maintaining their independence and find out whether they require any further help. This role is important and will help to improve the delivery of our services to blind and partially sighted people.

This role will not require a DBS check.

What will I be doing?

  • Telephoning customers who have received information from the ECLO service
  • Gathering information on the quality of the service received, and the difference the service has made to our customers lives
  • Responding appropriately to any questions, concerns or worries the customer might have
  • Referring the customer back to the ECLO service where appropriate
  • Providing further information about other services that may be of benefit to our customers
  • Collating and sending out information packs to customers within the service

  • Good telephone manner
  • Good spoken and written English
  • Ability to ask questions sensitively
  • General IT skills

When will I be needed?

2-3 hours one day a week on a fortnightly basis.

This role will be based at Pontypridd.
