Having gained enough knowledge through personal experience or RNIB training, you are able to direct, or give details to clients or their assistants', information needed. This could be via the telephone or through personal contact, maybe reading through with them appropriate publications or leaflets. You will be patient, flexible with a thirst for more knowledge as constant research is required.
This role does not require a DBS Check.
What will I be doing?

Responding to customers enquiries either face to face, via the telephone or by email

Commit to regular attendance at drop in facility or alternative RNIB establishment

Listening attentively to customers concerns and signpost appropriately

Familiarising yourself with local services and opportunities for blind and partially sighted people

Familiarising yourself with RNIB's products and services

This will depend according to the service provided, on average 2 hours a week.
