If so, then we need YOU to help people stay independent and to guide them through the benefits maze. The role is important and by giving your time and skills you will be part of a dedicated team who make a real difference to the lives of blind and partially sighted people.
This role does not require a DBS Check.
What will I be doing?

Working alongside a Welfare Rights Officer delivering services within a designated area.

General administrative duties including preparation of documents, photocopying, recording information on databases, responding to and sending emails and general filing.

Telephoning existing customers and external agencies to follow up outcomes on cases.

Responding appropriately to any questions, concerns or worries the customer might have.

When will I be needed?
During office hours Monday to Friday - We aim to be flexible to suit your circumstances but following up cases can be time consuming so expect to be able to give at least 4 hours a week.
Location
Various locations including Cardiff, RCT, Swansea, Bangor, Conwy, Rhyl and Wrexham.
