To enable blind and partially sighted people to volunteer for RNIB Cymru, the Cardiff site are developing a "hot desk" with a range of specialist, access technology equipment available to meet the volunteers' individual needs.

To accurately word process text for Braille transcription in English and/or Welsh, as requested by the staff at the Transcription Centre in Cardiff. Opportunities available across Wales.

Researcher - Policy and Communications Team

To support the work of the Policy and Communications team by assisting with desk based research. Opportunities available across Wales.

Admin Office Support

Assist and support customers and/or staff at an RNIB centre, or possibly at home, where the need may include using the telephone, editing and distributing letters, filing, photocopying and stocking supplies. Opportunities available across Wales.

Researcher - Accessible Learning and Information

To support the work of the Accessible Learning and Information Centre by assisting with desk based research. Opportunity available at RNIB Cardiff.

Telemarketing Support - Membership Team

Volunteers are required to make calls from RNIB Cymru offices or from home to existing members to assess member satisfaction, and updating them on services. Opportunities available across Wales.

Information Giver

Having gained enough knowledge through personal experience or RNIB training, you are able to direct, or give details to clients or their assistants', information needed. This could be via the telephone or through personal contact. Opportunity available across Wales.
