To enable blind and partially sighted people to volunteer for RNIB Cymru, the Cardiff site are developing a "hot desk" with a range of specialist, access technology equipment available to meet the volunteers' individual needs.

To demonstrate new and existing products which are designed to make blind and partially sighted people lives more independent. 'Sooty' Charity Box Collector

Make a difference in your local community, by ensuring money donated by the public into our iconic Sooty boxes is collected on a regular basis from local shops, pubs and leisure centres. Opportunities available in Tenby, Milton Haven, Carmarthen, Port Talbot, Swansea and Neath.

Braille Transcriber

By transcribing printed texts into braille, and using your excellent attention to detail you could make a real difference to the lives of blind and partially sighted people across the UK. Opportunity available in Cardiff.

Audio Transcription Checker

As a natural listener with excellent attention to detail, your time and talent can help ensure that all documents transcribed by your local RNIB transcription centre are of the highest quality. Volunteers required in Cardiff.

'Sooty' Charity Box Home Finder (Fundraising)

Find a home for Sooty and make a difference in your local community, by giving our iconic Sooty collecting box the best spot in the house. Opportunity available in Cardiff, Swansea, Neath, Camarthen and Newport

Street and Store Collector

Make a difference in your local community by joining our successful team of dedicated fundraising volunteers. Be part of our team of volunteers collecting regularly at local supermarkets and shopping centres throughout the year. Opportunities available across Wales.

Admin Office Support

To assist and support staff at an RNIB or a Cardiff Vales and Valleys (CVV) centre. Duties include using the telephone, editing and distributing letters, filing, photocopying, mail shots and general administrative duties. Appropriate training is offered in all areas for a team worker. Opportunity available in Neath Port Talbot and RCT.
