People volunteer for many different reasons. If you volunteer with RNIB you will be helping to improve the lives of people with sight problems. You will have the opportunity to put your talents to good use, learn new skills and experience to add to your CV. Volunteering can also help you to gain confidence, make new friends and develop new interests.
Cherry is an admin volunteer who is based at the Peterborough site, "I was looking for a change of career and my admin skills were a little bit rusty. I have done volunteering with other organisations in the past and it occurred to me that this would be a great opportunity for me to top up my skills and to meet new people. Getting involved with RNIB has given me loads of confidence and I've felt like part of the team from day one".
