Have you heard about RNIB’s new transition service? Our Looking to the Future project helps young people with sight loss move on to the next stage of their life. We can support transitions to and from school, college, university and employment.

Our Transitions Officers offer one-to-one support. During the first few meetings Transitions Officers set out how they might support the young person and develop an personalised action plan with them. Once agreed they help the individual to move forward.

If you are supporting a young person who could benefit from this service please call us on the numbers below.

Looking to the Future is a pilot project open to young people living or hoping to study in the following areas:

  • Edinburgh and Lothian area –0131 657 8210
  • Aberdeenshire – 07889 300 263
  • Glasgow – 0141 276 9800
