About JMU
JMU Access Partnership is one of the UK's leading pan-disability access consultancies and is part of RNIB.
The aim of JMU is to help disabled people lead full and independent lives by improving access to the built, pedestrian and transport environments. We achieve this through our consultancy, training, publications, research and policy activities.
Our consultancy services include:
- access audits of existing environments
- design appraisals of proposed environments
- access statements
- signage audits and assessments
- tactile and large print maps
- product assessments
- practical information and advice.
We also provide a range of introductory and technical training courses, covering subjects such as Disability Awareness through to Visual Contrast and Signage.
