Shortcuts for popular programs

For many people with sight problems the most effective way to use a computer is with keyboard commands (also called shortcuts or hotkeys).

The best way to get a list of shortcuts for an application is to go to its help (usually by pressing F1 or going to the Help menu) and browsing the contents or searching for "keyboard", "shortcut" or "accessibility".

Many software suppliers also give lists of shortcuts on their websites.

On this page we offer some lists of keystrokes for download, and also give the relevant website where you may get additional information.
