We heard from Sharon Bowell who's been using the TripAdvisor app on her iPhone 4S.

I found the trip adviser app a very simple app to use. It has 4 tabs along the bottom, all labelled appropriately. From the home screen it is possible to search for hotels, restaurants, things to do and flights. By double tapping on one of the sections there is a search box, to type in the town or city where one needs a hotel etc, then all the hotels or whatever one searches for appear with details of each hotel when the name of the hotel is double tapped.

The information is very detailed for each hotel etc, giving reviews, hotel address, website and prices plus special offers.

The only slight annoyance about this app is there are a lot of vertical lines, which are spoken as one reads. This does not affect the use of the app, just a slight annoyance when reading.

Overall I found this app very easy to use, with lots of relevant information about each item. There is also an option to save things for future reference if required.
