The information found in our Orgfinder database is based on replies to questionnaires that we have sent to organisations or on publicly available information. We try to keep this information as up to date as possible so please email inforesourceteam@rnib.org.uk if you have any new information to add.
How can I get my organisation's details on to the database?
By adding your details to our database you can make yourself known to the many members of the public searching for themselves and to our frontline staff who use Orgfinder to refer the thousands of callers to our Helpline on to other sources of help. If you'd like to add your organisation, please email your organisation's details to inforesourceteam@rnib.org.uk.
Please note that we have set criteria for what sorts of organisations we include on our Orgfinder database and we reserve the right to refuse to include organisations that do not meet these criteria.
In general, we only include organisations:

that people affected by sight problems are likely to need and use as a result of a sight problem

and whose main focus is helping people with a sight problem or disability - particularly organisations of or for blind and partially sighted people

or whose work is relevant to our strategy.
In particular, we do not include private organisations providing care in the home, rehabilitation services, nutritional supplements and medical treatments.

When you submit details to us to be included on the database you give us the right to use, reproduce and publish these and grant us a non-exclusive, irrevocable right to use and pass on all information that you submit.
