Meet Jem

My name is Jem. I am 17 years old and live in North Yorkshire with my family and my cat. I am finishing my A-Levels next year in product design, maths, art and chemistry. I would really like to go to university to study product design because I enjoy thinking of new ideas and making them.

At the moment I am planning the expedition for my gold Duke of Edinburgh award which is canoeing along the Caledonian Canal in Scotland at the end of August. I help at the local guides every Tuesday in my local town. I play the flute for fun at home and I enjoy listening to any type music.

I wanted to write a blog about my planned design project for my coursework for teenagers suffering with sight loss because I didn't know many products specifically for this and I think it's a really interesting topic.
