Hereford Museum and Art Gallery:

Hereford Museum has displays relating to the history of Herefordshire from the Geological era to the present day. The museum has Braille and large-print guides as well as coloured overlays to assist those who find it easier to read text on different coloured backgrounds. The museum also has audio guides, and a large number of the staff have been trained to interpret and describe objects and art-works to the blind and visually impaired. We also have tactile images and have recently acquired a talking tactile tablet which we will be putting in to use shortly. Hereford Museum was also involved in the RNIB CultureLink project 2010/2011.
