The countdown is on to the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games!

RNIB is working behind the scenes to ensure that the needs of blind and partially sighted people are being considered, so everyone can enjoy the Games.

When London 2012 won the bid to host the Games, the organisers promised to make it the most accessible Games ever.

We want to ensure that these are not only the most accessible Games ever, but that they are as accessible as possible in order to raise the standard for future Games.

We also want to work in ways that create a lasting legacy for the UK across areas as audio description, accessible information, culture and employment.
