We provide expert staff, modern facilities and a wide range of opportunities for involvement in employment and community life.
We offer residential or day programmes to people with a wide range of disabilities, including autism, mild, moderate or severe learning difficulties, communication difficulties and physical mobility difficulties.
Further Education
RNIB College Loughborough offers learners tailored programmes based on their goals for the future. Every learner has an Individual Learning Plan with progress regularly monitored and achievements celebrated.
Our in-house programmes range from Entry Level 1 up to Level 2 and are delivered in small and supportive classes. Learners on these programmes develop skills to progress into further education or employment and learn how to live independently.
We now offer a range of progression programmes for learners that are moving into independent or supported living or into employment.
We support learners on mainstream programmes at Loughborough College. Courses range from Foundation Learning to A Levels and National Diplomas. Many learners progress onto further education at their local college, higher education, employment or voluntary work.
Adult Employment
Our adult programmes are designed for people who are unemployed and need to develop their skills to get into work.
During the course learners can develop a range of skills, such as IT and access technology and have experience completing office and administration tasks, practising customer service and developing job seeking skills.
Following an expert assessment, staff will work with learners to design a programme individual to their needs which will develop confidence in the workplace. Programmes include employment skills, job club, IT, access technology, telephone techniques, literacy and numeracy.
