You can help us provide specialist services for children and young people with complex needs and sight loss at RNIB Pears Centre for Specialist Learning (formerly RNIB Rushton School and Children's Home).
Our specialist activities and excursions give blind and partially sighted children and young people with complex needs the support they need to enhance their communication skills, access the curriculum, and develop their self esteem. These include trips out, rock climbing, horse riding, equipment for the sensory room, concert tickets and music lessons.

What our supporters say
"Rushton makes a real difference, not just to the lives of the children it cares for but for the 200 people it will create new jobs for, the companies that will supply this multi-million pound project and everyone who comes into contact with this huge undertaking. That is why we will work with RNIB to ensure its success."
Darren Jones, President, Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce
"Having met some of the children and their teachers, I know just how important Rushton School and Children's Home is. It will be a lifesaver, a life creator, for the children and their families, and all Coventry should be proud to have such a world-class facility enhancing our city."
Richard Field, Head of Communications, Coventry Building Society
