Pupil voice for children with PMLD and Sensory impairments

The aim of the session is to explore what "pupil voice" means for children who understand minimal language. It will also discuss a variety of methods and approaches to help maximise pupil participation in order to express opinions, ideas and feelings.

  • To reflect on what is pupil voice is for this client group
  • To discuss as a group what good practice could look like to ensure pupil voice is happening for these children
  • To share our experiences of developing pupil voice at Sunshine House school.
