We are pleased to confirm that there will be no annual increase in the subscription fee for the Talking Book Service in 2012-13. From 1 April 2012, the cost of a subscription for readers who also hire a DAISY player remains at £82 a year. The cost of a book only subscription remains at £50 for the eighth year running.
We have worked hard to keep our costs down to ensure that our Talking Book subscription continues to give great value for money. And if you pay for your own subscription, you can now choose to pay by Direct Debit in 10 monthly instalments to help spread the cost. With nearly 20,000 quality titles to choose from, our Talking Book Service offers the country's largest collection of audio books, many of which are not available from elsewhere - and new titles are being added all the time.
