Dagger in the library shortlist

Dagger in the Library logo

The Dagger in the Library prize shortlist is Belinda Bauer, S.J. Bolton, Susan Hill, Peter May, Steve Mosby and Imogen Robertson.

The shortlist was arrived at by debate (and dispute!) among the judges, and drawn from around 60 authors nominated by Libraries and reading groups right across the UK.

This award is slightly unusual because it is given to an author on the basis of their body (pardon the pun) of work rather than just a title. Quite often these are authors who are really popular with library users but may not have hit the bestsellers list or up and coming talent that the general populace has not quite picked up on yet.

Some of the titles in our library

  • Belinda Bauer - Blacklands (braille, giant print)
  • S.J. Bolton - Sacrifice (TB available soon)
  • Susan Hill -The various haunts of men (TB 17347, braille)
  • Peter May - The Blackhouse (TB available soon)
  • Steve Mosby - Still Bleeding (TB 17642)

Other titles are also available check the library catalogue
