Braille books

RNIB is the largest publisher of braille books in Europe. These are available for members to borrow through the RNIB National Library Service or to buy through our online Book Site.

We lend 83,200 volumes of braille and braille music through our library every year.

What we offer

• for schools, many of our titles support the National Curriculum although we do not lend text books

It's quick, easy and free to borrow braille books from RNIB:

• you can choose six books at a time, books are delivered free to your door
• search the library catalogue
• our New Books magazine tells you all about the latest books available
• we've also got book lists for braille to give you ideas about what is available
• there are also book lists for children too
• Read On magazine has lots of articles with reading ideas.
