Tor.com is a really good website if you enjoy Science Fiction or Fantasy books. The site features regular news, short stories and articles about new and upcoming books.
For example, fantasy author Suzanne Collins is currently reading and blogging her way through the huge Dark Tower series by Stephen King. It can be really fun to read along with her as she works her way through the novels, interpreting and commenting about this complex and involving series as she goes.
Short stories and excerpts from new novels are also regularly featured on the website, including work by such well known authors as Robert Jordan, Charles Stross and Bruce Sterling.
