Carnegie medal winners

The Carnegie Medal in Literature is awarded to an outstanding book for children and young adult readers. Here we revisit some past nominees for the award.

Author visits - Frank Cottrell Boyce and Meg Rosoff

Frank Cottrell Boyce visited the Library in Stockport recently for a Family Day for blind and partially sighted children. At another event, Meg Rosoff visited the pupils at New College, Worcester.

Meet... Sally Gardner

Sally Gardner has won several awards including the Nestle Smarties gold award for her book I Coriander which is about the unhappy daughter of a silk merchant living in 17th century London. We caught up with her at the Cheltenham Literature festival.
